LEGAL

TERMS OF SERVICE

LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 20, 2026

These terms cover three separate things, each with different rules: this marketing site, the open-source LogCore OS software, and the live demo instance. Read the section that applies to what you're actually using.

1. This website

logcoretech.com is provided for informational purposes — to explain LogCore OS and let you request contact. Content is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We may update, change, or remove content on this site at any time without notice.

2. The LogCore OS software

LogCore OS is open-source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPLv3). The license itself — not this page — is the controlling legal document for how you may use, modify, and distribute the software. In short: you're free to self-host, modify, and use it, including commercially; if you modify it and offer the modified version as a network service to others, AGPL requires you to make that modified source available too.

The software is provided without warranty, as stated in the license. You're responsible for your own deployment, backups, and security when self-hosting.

3. The live demo (app.logcoretech.com)

The demo instance is provided so you can evaluate the product before self-hosting or requesting managed hosting. Don't use it to store real sensitive data — it's a shared evaluation environment, may be reset periodically, and isn't backed by the same guarantees a self-hosted or managed-hosting instance would be.

4. Managed hosting

If you engage LogCoreTech for managed hosting, the specific scope, pricing, and service terms are agreed directly with you at setup — these general terms don't override whatever's agreed there. General principle: it's your data and effectively your instance, we operate it on your behalf.

5. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and services evolve. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
